Quill's Direct Vet Care was born from a deeply personal experience. Like many pet owners, I believed having pet insurance meant my dog would always have access to care when he needed it most.
But when my dog faced a medical emergency, I discovered a painful reality: even with insurance, pet parents are often required to pay thousands of dollars upfront and wait weeks for reimbursement.
In that moment, I realized the problem was not just affordability. It was the disconnect between veterinary clinics, insurers, and pet parents — and a $35 billion, fast-growing market still running on 3–5 day reimbursement cycles.
Our mission is simple: build a connected care ecosystem where clinics, pet parents, and insurers can work together in real time, so care comes first and technology makes it possible.

Her role is to keep the platform honest: every feature that touches a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a clinical judgment call passes through veterinary review before it ships.
Her standard is simple: if a tool wouldn't make sense to the vet standing at the exam table, it doesn't belong in QuillsFlow. That standard is why the AI Confidence Engine is clinically reviewed rather than purely algorithmic.
